My Story
My name is Reem Dasa. I was born in Saudi Arabia, spent part of my childhood in Jordan, and eventually settled in Palestine, where I completed my education. Throughout my school years, I was an athlete representing my country in long jump. From an early age, I was fascinated by the connection between nutrition, physical performance, and body composition, a curiosity that ultimately led me to pursue a career in this field. That same passion still drives me today, and I continue to learn and grow every day.
I am a Fulbright scholar currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sports and Human Performance Nutrition at Marywood University in Pennsylvania, with an expected graduation in May 2026. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Birzeit University in Palestine, as well as a two-year professional diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee. With over a decade of experience, I have led national programs in sports nutrition and anti-doping and currently serve as the Head Nutritionist for the Palestinian Olympic Committee. I am deeply committed to using nutrition as a tool to enhance athletic performance, promote health, and improve quality of life. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a PhD to further contribute to the field through evidence-based research and practice.
