I completed my Acute Care rotation across two facilities, beginning at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY, and concluding at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Both institutions are well-established acute care hospitals that provide a wide range of medical services and specialties. During this rotation, I was exposed to diverse patient populations and clinical conditions, working alongside interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide medical nutrition therapy. This experience strengthened my clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to adapt to different healthcare settings while delivering patient-centered care.

I completed my Long Term Care rotation at Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Oak Ridge provides comprehensive services including skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, and long-term care for residents. The facility focuses on individualized care plans developed through collaboration among interdisciplinary team members to support residents in maintaining or improving their functional status and quality of life. During this rotation, I gained experience in nutrition assessment, care planning, and monitoring for residents with chronic conditions, while also developing strong communication skills with both residents and healthcare staff.
